The button function can be enabled or disabled during configuration, which can further simplify subsequent use in video conferences. Three unidirectional condenser microphone elements provide 360-degree coverage. A single microphone thus offers comprehensive voice pickup for most meeting rooms. Each of the three cardioid microphones features integrated echo cancellation and digital signal processing (DSP). This includes equalization, filtering, and automatic gain control (AGC), among other functions. In conjunction with a suitable additional device such as AV Bridge MATRIX PRO or EasyUSB Mixer / Amp, the DSP can process an AEC reference from the far end and apply it to the individual microphone elements. This supports clear communication on both sides during conference calls. Thanks to the plug-and-play concept, setup is straightforward. A standard Cat-5 cable between the microphone and an EasyMIC-compatible device is all that is required. Power, control, and the audio signal are transmitted together via this single cable.
