Description

The N30 enables bidirectional conversion between 12G-SDI and NDI and is designed for professional broadcast applications as well as IP video productions. In encoder mode, it converts 12G-SDI signals up to 4Kp60 into Full-NDI; as a decoder, it outputs NDI signals via 12G-SDI. Features include an SDI loop-out, a tally indicator, PTZ control, and audio inputs and outputs. Power can be supplied either via PoE or 5–18 V DC. Thanks to its compact design, the device can be easily used in camera rigs, for remote productions, to connect to control rooms, or in mobile NDI workflows. Switching between encoder and decoder mode is performed directly via the web interface, allowing the converter to be flexibly integrated into professional live video setups. The device was purchased a few years ago for a project that was ultimately never realized.
