The portable unit generates numerous static and animated test signals and can output them in various resolutions and signal formats. According to PTV, the range extends from 24P Drop-Frame and 2K through to 625/50. The digital output is via BNC connectors. An analogue section is also available, allowing YUV or FBAS signals to be output. Both audio and continuously running timecode can be embedded in the digital signals. According to PTV, the integrated lithium-ion battery enables mains-independent operation of up to 3.5 hours. The device works perfectly and is securely packed in a Pelicase.
