The manufacturer describes the device as follows: The Verto MX enables existing MADI equipment to be easily integrated into a Dante audio network. The converter provides all 64 × 64 MADI channels directly in the Dante network without elaborate setup – for example for mixing consoles or MADI converters. The particularly compact device has two MADI interfaces and therefore enables the connection of both optical and coaxial cables. Should the MADI signal fail, it automatically switches to the other input. This enables redundant and fail-safe operation. Two RJ45 sockets are available for the Dante connection, which are also designed for a redundant connection. Sample rates of up to 192 kHz are supported. MIDI connections for firmware updates and BNC sockets for Wordclock for external synchronization are also provided.
