Description

## Less downtime and reduced effort for on-site service The Early-Warning Software ET-SWA105C monitors projectors connected to an intranet. It reports known or impending irregularities as well as error symptoms that have already occurred. The application also records the operating conditions of each individual projector. Based on operating hours, it forecasts* when consumables are likely to be needed, when the next regular cleaning is due, or when certain components need to be replaced. ### Plan maintenance requirements in advance Knowing in advance when consumables and maintenance services will be needed or have to be provided makes it considerably easier to organise upcoming work. ### Identify potential errors in good time Potential faults can be identified and rectified at an early stage, before they develop into an actual problem. ### Quick assistance in the event of a fault If a fault nevertheless occurs, the information provided helps to determine its cause. This can shorten the time required to restore the projector and reduce costs caused by downtime. ## ET-SWA105C functions ### Detailed monitoring Among other things, the monitoring screen displays the projector status and maintenance schedule clearly in an instrument-like format. This makes all essential information immediately recognisable. For easier management of multiple devices, projectors can also be displayed in grouped lists. ### Management via web browser The status of the projectors can be accessed using any web browser. This enables convenient monitoring from a PC or tablet without having to go directly to the monitoring server. If a VPN connection (Virtual Private Network) has been set up, monitoring is also possible without direct access to the intranet. This means that the projector status and possible errors can also be checked from a remote location, enabling faults to be rectified more quickly. In addition, the monitoring screen can be linked to a control interface in the web browser. This allows each individual projector to be managed remotely. The application thereby supports the smooth execution of a wide range of tasks – from status checks to operating the projector. ## System requirements The computer used as the monitoring server and on which the software is to be installed must meet the following requirements. **Operating system** Windows® 7 Ultimate (32 Bit/64 Bit) Windows® 7 Professional (compatible only with Windows® 7 Professional 32 Bit/64 Bit SP1) Windows® 8 Pro (32 Bit/64 Bit) Windows® 8 (32 Bit/64 Bit) * Under Windows® 64 Bit, the software runs in 32-bit mode. * The English and Japanese versions of the operating systems listed above are supported. * Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) is activated automatically during installation. **Software library** Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 * If the software library is not yet available, it must be downloaded and installed from the Microsoft website. **Web browser** Internet Explorer 8.0 / 9.0 / 10.0 * The Modern-UI version of Internet Explorer 10 under Windows® 8 is excluded. **CPU** Intel® Core™ 2 Duo or higher, or an equivalent processor. * When connecting more than 65 devices, an Intel® Core™ i5 or higher is recommended. **Memory** At least 2,048 MB RAM **Hard drive** At least 80 GB of free storage space * The required storage space increases as the number of connected devices grows. **Other requirements** One of the following adapters must be installed and function properly: LAN connection (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Wired LAN) The screen resolution must be at least 1,024 × 768 pixels.
