The enclosure is made of 15 mm-thick plywood and features a high-quality Rhino-Rock finish. The engraved, boomerang-shaped logo is directly visible on the enclosure. However, the new design is not the only change made by the development team. Inside, a new crossover with a revised design has been integrated. The changed positioning and additional bracing of the components are intended to protect the sensitive crossover technology. This improves performance and reliability over the long term, even with high production volumes. The switch on the rear allows you to choose between bi-amp and passive mode. This flexible signal routing makes it possible to further fine-tune the systems with multiple amplifiers and external crossovers. Specially selected drivers have been used for the speakers. The woofers feature cast baskets, deliver high output power and exhibit low mechanical distortion, enabling a particularly powerful low-frequency range. With the exception of the Delta X10, the 2-inch titanium compression drivers are combined with elliptical waveguides and a 90° x 45° dispersion. This achieves high output levels and an even distribution of the high frequencies. The complete series comprises 9 new models – from the Delta X10 with 300 W RMS to the Delta X218 dual-chamber subwoofer with two 18-inch speakers and 1600 W RMS. The versions are suitable for both fixed installations and touring applications.
