If the available bandwidth is restricted, the adaptive bitrate function automatically adjusts the stream and maintains the highest possible quality. The integrated 802.11ac WiFi router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation, delivering improved throughput and a more stable wireless connection over longer distances. ### Direct Recording to an SD Card The built-in SD card slot allows high-quality backup files to be recorded directly on Cube 655. The resolution and bitrate of the recorded material correspond to the quality of the encoded stream. A configurable test pattern generator can be used to check the stream without connecting a video source and helps avoid interruptions if video synchronization is lost. ### Straightforward Setup and Monitoring An LED-based interface simplifies configuration and status monitoring. Menus load quickly, setting changes are applied immediately, and encoder status information is updated dynamically. Configuration is also possible through a local web browser or remotely via the Core cloud service. ### Core – Live Streaming Anywhere Cube 655 can access the internet through local WiFi, Ethernet, or a 3G/4G/LTE modem. Live streams are managed using the Core cloud management service. The device is compatible with the Teradek Node LTE Modem. Live streams can be viewed with the Core TV App on Apple TV, MacOS, iOS, and Android. ### Vuer App – Wireless On-Set Monitoring The Vuer App displays the wireless video feed on personal smart devices. Users connect to Cube’s WiFi hotspot, allowing clients, crew members, and the director to monitor the signal on their own devices.
