AirDMX transforms the iPad into a comprehensive solution for controlling DMX lighting. The application is suitable both for live operation at events and for automated lighting control in your own home. Numerous practical tools are available for particularly convenient setup and operation. An extensive fixture library is already integrated; additional custom fixtures can be created. Cues and programs can be created, and multiple spotlights or devices can be conveniently managed and controlled in groups. The app can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and tested before purchasing the required hardware. The AirDMX A1 Box is required to output DMX signals. The connection is wireless via the WLAN frequency range. A universe with 512 channels can then be output either via XLR or Art-Net. This gives the system a great deal of flexibility for different applications and enables a high degree of freedom of movement.
