Technically, both speakers work perfectly and deliver a very good sound image. The S3 is designed as a passive mid/high-frequency loudspeaker in an extremely compact enclosure. From 180 Hz, a defined dispersion of 60° x 40° is achieved. With the appropriate arrangement, dispersion angles of 30° x 30° are already possible from the fundamental range. This solution is also extremely powerful in terms of range and maximum level. The 308 horn by Ralf Limmer plays a special role. Thanks to the precise arrangement of the 12" and 1,4" drivers, there is no measurable time offset between the two components. The Ancra flying rails running laterally along the entire length enable uncomplicated flying operation. Together with an S1 subwoofer, which extends the frequency range downwards, this combination is suitable for numerous sound reinforcement tasks.
