Description The K-series consists of 1U rack-mount talkback units intended for use in small studios and outside broadcast vehicles. The range supports up to eight channels of 4-wire communication, while individual models allow each channel to be configured separately for the required routing, monitoring and control functions. Technical Details - Six-channel versions provide individual selection between 4-wire coordination and IFB operation. - The shared-control option links two units for simultaneous operation from two separate positions. - Four IFB bus inputs are provided, with input IFB loop-through selectable independently on each channel. - IFB and reverse talkback inputs can be monitored on every channel. - One channel offers selectable 2-wire operation, with or without an IFB feed. - Headset and stalk microphone gain can be adjusted independently, with LED indication of the talkback output level. - The headset or stalk microphone may be selected manually or set as the default during power-up. - External I/O control is available for LS CUT and DIM functions. - The unit can provide power to an external LS. - Universal mains power input. - Optional wide-range DC power input. - Optional GPI outputs for TALK-switch functions. - Each channel can be configured independently to provide the necessary routing, monitoring and control arrangement.
