The HD SkyLink system enables the wireless transmission of HD video signals over long distances – uncompressed and with virtually no delay. With a latency of less than 1 ms, it is particularly suitable for applications where immediate signal transmission is crucial. Thanks to its powerful yet lightweight design, the wireless system can be used in a wide range of applications. The transmitter’s low weight makes it ideal for live-streaming recordings with a multirotor or from a Steadycam system. Signal transmission is encrypted with 128-bit AES, while remaining completely uncompressed. This makes the system ideally suited for live productions in film and television, as well as for sporting events and comparable occasions. Thanks to the integrated multicast support, the signal from one transmitter can be received simultaneously by multiple receivers. This enables parallel streams while also providing active recording previews for the camera operator. The frequencies used can be adjusted directly on site via USB, depending on the area of use. If required, they can also be set in accordance with the frequency allocation by the Federal Network Agency. This allows the wireless system to be configured flexibly and operated in compliance with regulations.
