It is intended for applications that require increased sound pressure levels together with moderate low-frequency content. The system is suitable for music playback systems, live band reinforcement and speech applications. Its compact footprint provides a practical alternative to the Point 15 in installations where maximum low-frequency extension is not essential. The Point 12 is offered in passive and active bi-amped configurations. This enclosure features Adamson’s first 12-inch Kevlar Neodymium transducer, the 8Ω ND12-L, combined with a 1.4-inch-exit HF compression driver installed on Adamson’s proprietary fiberglass waveguide.
