For sale is a fully functional active 2.1 loudspeaker system as a one-off item or development and demo set. The delivery includes two active satellite loudspeakers, one subwoofer and matching U-brackets. The acoustic development was carried out in cooperation with Herwig Rabeneck, formerly of Opal Audio. Four-Audio DSP technology and Pascal amplifier modules are used for the electronics and DSP structure. The complete system, including the subwoofer, was measured and documented at the measurement institute of RWTH Aachen in the environment of Dr. Anselm Goertz, tuned and systemically equalized using FIR filters. The subwoofer also operates actively on a DSP basis and is fully matched to the two loudspeakers in terms of phase and time response. Each satellite uses a 5"-BMS coaxial driver as the central point source. The crossover frequency is 600 Hz. In addition, two independently operating 5"-Sica woofers are installed in separate enclosure chambers. The construction includes a CNC-milled aluminum baffle with integrated waveguide as well as a FEM-optimized bass reflex geometry. The system was conceived as a coordinated reference and development set and is suitable for particularly detailed studio or high-end reproduction. The development aimed at a modern, high-quality and professional transducer that, through its technical concept, can be used in a wide range of applications. The requirements of studio technology, conference and sound reinforcement applications as well as fixed installations were taken into account, among others. The design is elegant, understated and high-quality. The concept combines a small footprint with high acoustic performance and technically sophisticated implementation. The associated Extended-Subwoofer extends the loudspeakers in the low bass and is designed for reproduction of the two lowest octaves of the human hearing range. Low-distortion and high-level reproduction of the lowest frequencies provides a great tonal impact and perceptible physical presence. The technical concept allows the bass solution to be precisely adapted to the desired performance. There is also a high degree of flexibility in the choice of radiation characteristics. Especially in acoustically demanding rooms, directional bass configurations can be implemented, which can significantly improve the quality of low-frequency reproduction. Measured against its acoustic capabilities, the Extended-Subwoofer remains comparatively compact. The technically clear design reflects the high quality and performance standards of the overall system. This is a demo system with minor transport marks. Offered is a one-off item or a set in small-series and development status, as no serial production and no regular brand distribution were initiated.
