Xenon lamps are highly explosive, and a hot lamp can cause burn injuries. Only handle the lamp once it has reached room temperature. Always use the supplied protective jackets when handling it. When packing the lamp, or installing or removing it without the protective jackets, wear suitable protective equipment: a face shield with neck protection, a protective jacket and lint-free, cut-resistant gloves.
