Its sturdy metal construction makes it a reliable companion on the go. Thanks to the precise stereo capsules, sounds and spatial impressions can be recorded authentically. In addition to high-quality sound reproduction, numerous practical functions are available. The integrated headphone output allows the recorded signal to be monitored directly, even if the camera being used does not have its own headphone connection. The additional output connects the microphone to a camera or recording device. The controls are clearly arranged and easy to reach. For greater range and cleaner recordings, the input sensitivity can be increased by +20 dB. This allows the often noisy preamplifier of the camera to be set lower. For particularly loud sound sources or environments, attenuation of -10 dB is alternatively available. The switchable low-pass filter reduces disturbing low-frequency noises, such as driving and rumbling noises. The high-frequency boost can be used to achieve additional sharpness and greater clarity in the sound. The connection cable is detachable. This also allows another 3.5-mm cable to be used to position the microphone at a greater distance from the camera. The integrated shoe mount additionally features a metal tripod thread on the underside, thus enabling mounting on different camera mounts.
