For creative lighting design, CMY color mixing, a color wheel with four dichroic colors, white, correction filters for 3200 K and 5600 K, and a UV filter are available. Color changes can be performed in two operating modes: either exclusively with full colors or at any desired position. In addition, a rainbow effect with variable speed and switchable running direction, a macro function for combining the CMY system and color wheel, and a frost filter for particularly soft projections are integrated. The motorized zoom and beam-shape function enable a wide, flat beam of light that can be continuously rotated through 180°. Dynamic effects are provided by a strobe with 1 to 13 flashes per second as well as preprogrammed strobe and pulse effects. The blackout function can be used when selecting CMY, color, or beam-shape functions. The unit can be operated via DMX-512 with any commercially available DMX controller. Alternatively, the unit can be operated in stand-alone mode or in a master/slave configuration. In Program Run, 48 scenes are preprogrammed; their number can be changed. The individual scenes can be adjusted and saved on the control board or via an external controller. In addition, eight integrated programs are available that can be called up via DMX. A built-in microphone enables music control. The control board has a four-digit display and a membrane keypad. Among other things, the DMX start address, programs, and reset can be set via these controls, and the lamp can be switched on and off. Lamp switching and reset are also possible by remote control. A demo program is integrated. The unit is suitable for MSD-/HSD-250 or MSD-250/2 lamps.
