It is particularly suitable for extensive systems and installations in which video animations are to be displayed via LED systems. Control is possible via both Art-Net and DMX 512. This allows the power supply to be used with numerous common lighting controllers and media servers. The high-performance Art-Net receiver also enables smooth playback of video animations in larger LED installations. As a Generation 3 device, the system power supply supports not only DMX but also the Dynamic-Pixel-Bus protocol, or DPB for short. With DPB, up to 3072 channels can be used per output. Switching between DPB and DMX is possible at any time. The power supply can be operated fully remotely via the integrated HTML-5.0 web server. The components are addressed directly at the system power supply via Smart Link. Separate addressing of the individual LED boards is therefore not required, which significantly simplifies both installation and subsequent maintenance. Internal programs are available for straightforward commissioning. For example, slow colour fades or a manually defined colour can be displayed without prior addressing and without an external DMX source. M LED tiles Monochrome displays impress with an individual, clear aesthetic. The M tiles use white LEDs from the lighting sector and achieve good colour rendering of Ra > 80 for display applications. The same electronics as in the C series are used; multiplexing is omitted. The dimming curve starts as early as 0.01 %, thereby enabling high dynamics over four decades or 13 f-stops. With a refresh rate of 46 kHz, the system is also above the perception threshold of modern rolling-shutter studio cameras.
