Bars or comparable surfaces can also be clad with them. One processor can manage up to 8 × 8 tiles. This results in a resolution of 128 × 64, or 8,192 pixels. With 30 tiles, for example, a surface measuring 1.2 × 2 m, and therefore 2.4 m², can be created. For example, flying balls and colour gradients were implemented using custom software. The processors are connected to the computer via LAN. The LAN connections can be daisy-chained, so no additional switch is required. The professional LED pixel software Madrix can also be used for control. In one of the photos, the 25-mm tiles can be seen in the front area of the cube, while tiles with a 37.5 mm pixel pitch are shown on the rear wall. Due to the shooting conditions, the colours in the pictures unfortunately do not appear as brilliant as the SMD-5050-LEDs can actually display them.
