Description

Wireless PIR motion detector for monitoring indoor areas in homes, shops and offices. Movements are detected within a few milliseconds and transmitted wirelessly to the alarm control panel. The sensor can be mounted at a height of 1.8 to 2 meters on walls or in corners – either by screwing or sticking it on. A corner bracket as well as screws and wall plugs are included. When correctly mounted, the detector recognizes objects up to 12 meters away and covers 110° horizontally. Heaters, window fronts and conservatories should not point directly into the detection area, as heat sources can affect operation. A Dualway motion detector is suitable for such situations. The connection to the alarm system is wireless via the control panel. A separate signal cable and a power supply unit are not required. After being enrolled, the sensor transmits motion events, a triggered rear opening contact and a low battery level. The detected states can be used for automations via the web interface, for example to switch on lighting at night when entering the bathroom.
