Their distinctive reflector system delivers a beam angle of up to 125°, allowing flat surfaces such as buildings and scenic backgrounds to be lit evenly from a short distance. The result is a soft, attractive light source that can be useful in confined spaces as bounce light or for filling a diffuser. Used directly, the ARRI X produces hard shadows. Interchangeable black reflectors can be installed to create a pronounced hard-shadow effect. With its broad beam angle, the ARRI X Theater makes it possible to illuminate flat surfaces evenly with a short throw.
