The robust enclosure is made of birch plywood and finished with durable ISO-Flex coating. As B-stock, the unit is offered at a reduced price; the full 3-year warranty remains valid. Two 18FW4 drivers developed by DAS Audio are used. They are equipped with a 3-inch voice coil and a winding depth of 20 mm. The sandwich construction of the coils and forced-convection cooling counteract excessive heat generation and support efficient cooling at high system power. The enclosure made of birch plywood is also used in touring systems by DAS Audio and enables precise, natural and warm bass reproduction.
