The device expands the functions of the Orion-32-Serie with Dante audio networks and Synergy Core processing, thereby setting a high performance standard in its equipment class. It is aimed at professional recording studios as well as demanding production and broadcast environments. The equipment includes 64 analog inputs and outputs with Mastering-Grade AD/DA conversion and precise clocking. Connection to the host system is via Avid Pro Tools miniDigiLink / HDX or Thunderbolt and enables straightforward integration into existing setups. All digital connections can be operated simultaneously, allowing the system to be integrated flexibly into multiple systems and different setups. 8 integrated low-latency stereo mixers each provide 32 input channels as well as adjustable level, pan and reverb parameters and are suitable for both monitoring and summing tasks. Individually customizable presets save the complete signal routing as well as level adjustments, mixer settings and the effects used. The high-resolution touchscreen display enables independent metering and direct control of important functions. Operation without a connected computer is also possible. The software functions can be controlled wirelessly from a separate computer connected to the same network.
