The construction consists of 9 mm thick, laminated birch plywood. Aluminium profiles and steel ball corners reinforce the outer structure and improve protection against impacts and the stresses of mobile use. Inside is precision CNC-milled technical foam, adapted to the contours of the L-Acoustics X8 loudspeakers. It stabilises the speakers, limits their movement during transport and reduces the risk of minor transport damage. Depending on the version, a separate compartment for accessories, brackets or cables is integrated on the rear.
