They deliver studio-level sound, substantial processing power, dependable operation, and extensive flexibility. The compact Profile console is the central mixing surface for Profile and Mix Rack systems, providing a space-efficient alternative to the larger D-Show® console. It brings the established features of Avid live sound systems to small- and medium-sized applications, including houses of worship, theatres, nightclubs, and remote broadcast productions. At the heart of both D-Show® and Profile systems, the FOH Rack provides the main processing infrastructure. It contains an integrated control computer, DSP Mix Engine Cards, interface option cards, and connections for local inserts and external equipment. The rack operates with up to two Stage Racks for remote stage I/O, uses VENUE software as its graphical operating interface, and supports complete Pro Tools® integration when optional interface cards are installed. The Stage Rack is the remote input/output unit used for stage connections in D-Show® and Profile systems. Together with the FOH Rack, it can be configured with different analogue and digital input and output options for microphone- and line-level signals. These are transferred to the FOH Rack through a 75 Ohm BNC digital snake connection. Up to two Stage Racks may be used at the same time, allowing larger productions to be managed with as many as 96 microphone/line inputs and outputs in total.
