The electronically controlled drop system allows fabrics, scenery materials and other objects to be dropped safely, reliably and precisely in sync within a few fractions of a second. Each release unit can accommodate and release loads weighing up to 50 kg extremely quickly. This has increased the possible load capacity by 100% compared with previously known drop systems. A key advantage is that the load is held securely until the clear release command is given, for example when controlled via DMX. In systems with electromagnets or pneumatic holding devices, a loss of power or pressure can lead to an unintentional drop. In addition, magnetic solutions carry the risk that the magnet will no longer reliably release from the holding pin after prolonged activation. Up to 50 release units can be connected to a cable harness up to 150 m long. In combination with the largest G-FRAME 54 KABUKI G3 6-300 control unit, up to 300 release units can be opened simultaneously. With DMX controls, up to 50 units can be operated per control unit; an additional control unit is required for further release units.
