The sale is made excluding any liability for defects. **Features and functions** As the manufacturer's first USB-2.0 device, the interface offers eight inputs and outputs each, with a maximum sampling rate of 96 kHz. The theoretical USB data rate of 480 MBit is not fully utilized; mathematically, approximately 36.8 MBit plus overhead is required for this. Inputs 1 and 2 feature XLR/jack combination sockets without locking. Both channels are equipped with instrument and microphone preamps as well as an unbalanced insert path. Inputs 3 and 4 each have a microphone preamp. 48-volt phantom power can only be activated jointly for all four preamps. Inputs 1 to 4 can also be supplied with line signals via the rear jack sockets. All jack connections are balanced. Inputs 5 and 6 are available as jack sockets for line level. Channels 7 and 8 are routed via coaxial S/PDIF RCA connections. On the output side, there are six line jack outputs. Outputs 1 and 2 can be adjusted using the Main control on the front, for example for connecting active speakers. There are also two headphone outputs, each of whose volume can be adjusted separately. The first headphone output reproduces the signals from outputs 1/2, while the second is assigned to outputs 3/4. The unusual, space-constrained arrangement of the controls on the front panel requires some familiarization and may initially seem confusing. Color coding would have made it easier to assign the controls. The positioning of the send path below the volume fader is also rather unusual, as Aux paths are located above the Pan controls on most mixing consoles. **DSP-Mixer** In the Control Panel, a separate monitor mix can be created for each of the four output pairs from the input signals and eight DAW returns. The internal DSP effect is available exclusively for outputs 1/2 and 3/4. Various effect algorithms are supported, including Room, Hall, Delay and Echo.
