This intelligent, fully integrated, PC-based controller was developed specifically for managing large systems equipped with RDM-enabled fixtures. It is described as the industry’s first solution of its kind for integrated DMX and RDM control. The device can scan a DMX/RDM network for compatible products, identify connected fixtures, patch them automatically and provide direct control. It also receives fixture status updates and enables configuration of functions such as fixture mode and lamp on/off. RDM automation makes setup and programming of DJ systems and live-event lighting rigs much faster than with a comparable DMX console. The controller is also suitable for autonomous monitoring of large architectural lighting installations.
