The QuickQ 20 belongs to an intuitively operated and attractively priced series of lighting control consoles. It is suitable for controlling dimmers, LED colour-mixing systems and moving lights. A generous 9.7-inch touchscreen with a user interface modelled on smartphones is available for setup, programming and show operation. RDM-capable fixtures can be automatically detected, patched and configured. The integrated WLAN enables remote control via the free QuickQ app for iOS, Android and Windows tablets and smartphones. The connection is conveniently established by scanning the QR code displayed on the console screen. Clearly arranged buttons and faders, straightforward tools for colour selection and intensity control, as well as a large touchscreen with zoom and scroll functions, make operation easier. Simple cue and chase functions are available for playback. The user interface was specifically designed for beginners and guides the user clearly through setup, programming and operation. Free offline programming software is available for download for Mac and Windows. The MagicVis visualiser is also included. Shows can be prepared on a computer, saved to a USB stick and then transferred to the console. The system includes an extensive, regularly updated fixture library with more than 30,000 fixtures and devices. Compatible QuickQ shows can be transferred to any MagicQ system. This allows the created shows to be played back and edited on any corresponding console.
