Description
Condition: Good Flightcase: Not included Accessories: - The MatrixPRO-II series was developed from the ground up to provide advanced matrix switching capabilities and a higher level of performance. Accurate image reproduction requires every part of the video chain to offer sufficient bandwidth and a highly flat response, preserving image sharpness and color accuracy. The MatrixPRO-II range sets a high standard in both respects. **Bandwidth and Frequency Response** The MatrixPRO-II Series is built around a design with wide bandwidth and a flat frequency response, allowing the original image to be switched and distributed without modification. Bandwidth alone does not determine signal quality: frequency response is equally important for maintaining image clarity and precision. The HD Component and RGB models provide more than 600 MHz of bandwidth at -3 dB. Across the 0–300 MHz range, the signal remains within ±1.0 dB, making the MatrixPRO-II one of the highest-bandwidth and flattest matrix switcher series available. **RGB Delay Switching** Every model includes a user-configurable RGB delay switching mode. When this function is active and a new route is selected, the H and V sync signals switch immediately while black is transmitted through the RGB lines. Downstream equipment can therefore lock to the new signal before the image becomes visible. Once the preset delay has elapsed, the RGB signal is restored, resulting in a clean and seamless-looking transition. **Presets and I/O Groups** The MatrixPRO-II family supports up to 32 presets, with one preset available for each input and output button. These presets provide a quick way to reconfigure all system routes at the touch of a button. I/O groups are useful when specific inputs or outputs need to be kept separate. For example, selected inputs from an executive boardroom can be prevented from being routed to a video conferencing system. **Split Mode** One of the newer functions of the MatrixPRO-II is Split Mode Switching, which makes it possible to switch each color channel independently. Using a 12x8 RGBHV matrix as an example, inputs 1–4 can be assigned to RGB, the red channel on inputs 5–8 can carry composite video, while the green and blue channels on inputs 9–12 can be used for S-Video. This enables one physical matrix switcher to handle the work of several separate units. The approach helps reduce costs while keeping the required switching flexibility available as video formats and resolutions are upgraded in the future.
