The compact 3-CCD shoulder camcorder from the 200 series differs externally from the HD100, JVC's first HDV shoulder camcorder, by an adapter permanently connected to the rear of the unit. Instead, the unit has a professional battery connection system on the rear. Therefore, the battery, like the tripod plate, is not included in the standard delivery and must be procured separately.
