Used passive basses are also available for sale, allowing an active/passive bass set with Voice-Acoustic components to be expanded or completed. The integrated 3-channel Class-D amplifier module delivers a total of 4,000 W: 2,400 W for the active bass and 800 W each for a passive slave bass and the top speakers. This allows a complete 2.2 system to be set up and supplied in stereo from one active bass. The presets for Voice-Acoustic top speakers are stored in the internal DSP; the Score-6 model is excluded. Free remote-control software is also available for remote control and monitoring. Among other things, it can be used to set up delay lines and clearly monitor the operating status and headroom of each amplifier channel. The detachable dolly board at the front and the included cover protect the subwoofer all around during transport. With a front surface of 54 x 54 cm, the bass can also be used under plug-in-leg platforms with a width of 60 cm. Thanks to its compact design, it can easily be moved and handled by just one person. Inside is a high-quality 18" neodymium driver from B&C. It produces a high, undistorted low-frequency level from its compact dimensions. The low moving mass of just 160 g mms is combined with a powerful drive and a B/L factor of 28. This enables signals to be reproduced quickly and precisely, with very good transient response. The driver is equipped with a durable 4" voice coil, a well-designed ventilation system and low power compression. This allows the power of the amplifiers to be used efficiently, while efficiency remains stable even at continuously high levels. The generously dimensioned bass-reflex ports are located in all four corners. The resulting chimney effect additionally supports cooling. The tunnel cross-section is 500 cm², corresponding to approximately 43% of the cone area. This reduces distortion and improves efficiency. Due to the generous ports, no disruptive airflow noise occurs. The construction of the bass-reflex ducts additionally stiffens the cabinet walls. Further internal bracing increases stability and prevents unwanted resonances. A Dante chip can be retrofitted optionally.
