The active HFA118sHP subwoofers use a specially developed, long-excursion 18-inch B&C woofer. A DPA amplifier module is used for the internal amplification. The design is intended for a high and extended low-bass level. An integrated DSP with low-noise 24-bit A/D-D/A converters provides eight presets: six factory settings and two freely assignable user memories. Selection is made using the selector on the front module or via USB connection in real time through a PC and the included Soundware software. The HFA115 are fully active 15-inch PA systems with high output power, pronounced dynamics, very linear reproduction and high fidelity. Custom-made components are housed in sturdy birchwood cabinets finished with a durable, textured and scratch-resistant coating. The speakers are driven by a lightweight and efficient Class-D amplifier module with a switching power supply and 2200 Wrms power.
