The C 88:4 is the top model in the C Series and is one of the most powerful four-channel installation amplifiers ever. Each channel provides up to 2,200 W at 2 Ohm – up to 8,800 W in total are possible. Thanks to its high power reserve, the unit is also suitable for particularly demanding permanent installations, such as those with large subwoofers, extensive array systems or applications with different power and impedance levels. The power amplifier is housed in a space-saving 2-HE enclosure that combines high power with flexible installation options. The individual channels can be adapted to different loads. For this purpose, each channel has a configurable Voltage Peak Limiter (VPL™) and selectable input gain. This allows the output power to be matched to various loudspeaker configurations – from high-powered subwoofers to several 100-/70-V loudspeakers. VPL and adjustable gain structure ensure the greatest possible headroom regardless of the input signal and output impedance. All units are factory-prepared for integration into a NomadLink® network.
