Maximum flexibility for sound pickup and additional security: The CX2 models combine two different polar patterns in a discreet dual-capsule headset. Depending on the acoustic situation, either the feedback-resistant cardioid, the transparent omnidirectional pattern, or a combination of both signals can be used. In difficult environments, the cardioid provides additional headroom, while the omnidirectional pattern ensures open sound reproduction in non-critical situations. The microphones of the Serie 8 can be positioned effortlessly and transmit voices naturally – from quiet to moderately loud applications. Both capsules offer high resistance to overload up to 136 dB. The 360° flexible gooseneck enables precise alignment and can be permanently positioned as desired. The headset is suitable for speech and singing and has proven itself in professional applications in theatre, musical theatre, broadcast, conferences and live events. Thanks to the flexible neckbands, the headset is comfortable to handle. The boom can be worn on either the left or right side without complicated modification. Its high flexibility facilitates optimal positioning close to the sound source and supports a long service life. The delivery includes the X-Connector for simple and reliable connection to common bodypack transmitters. The connectors feature a locking screw connection: they can be mounted and removed quickly, but remain securely seated during operation and cannot loosen unintentionally. The dual-capsule version has two X-Connector connections.
